About Me

Larry Richardson
My life and career has revolved around close encounters of the "natural" kind, or providing the same opportunities for others. My passion is birding, wildlife and wild places. I have spent more than 30 years in and around natural resources management, nature and environmental education, and advocating for the conservation and/or preservation of natural places. There is no substitute for being "out there", experiencing nature. Birding is my engine to engage nature and the inspiration to share with others. Life-long experiences have taught me that many special places are truely "in the middle of nowhere".
